Summer Wedding at The Haycock Hotel
Cambridge Wedding Photographer | The Haycock Hotel
When you have your wedding at The Haycock Hotel, you just know that your photos are going to be amazing. One favourite spot is down by the river under the bridge, very cooling during a Summer Wedding. The light there is just wow. As much as I don’t like water, it’s one place that must be visited.
Ali and Mikaela both got ready at the hotel before heading off to the Church in Peterborough. Getting ready at the same venue means that I can get time with both the Bride and Groom and be on hand when gifts are exchanged. The look on Mikaela’s face was priceless when she looked past the gorgeous roses and her eyes landed on the Mulberry bag.
After the ceremony, it was a short ride back to the Haycock in one of Peterborough Wedding Cars Vintage Bentley’s. Bruno was waiting for them in the garden and was included in the family photos. It’s always lovely to have family dogs at weddings.
The afternoon was spent in the sunshine playing vintage games supplied by Tillys Garden Party and was such a hit with all the kids, and big kids. Guests at weddings area big part of your day, no matter their age. We took the opportunity to photograph the oldest member of the family and the youngest. How precious?
Pink and Navy was the colour scheme of the day and the stunning 6 tier wedding cake was adorned with pink sugar paste flowers. It looked amazing and far too nice to cut into that night.
Mikaela and Ali’s wedding was published in the Rutland Pride magazine and you can see the article here
