Trinity College Cambridge | Elizabeth & Richard
When you study in Cambridge and meet your future husband at the amazing Trinity College Cambridge, then there is only one perfect venue to hold your wedding. You know you are in Cambridge when you are on the banks of the river with a steady stream of visitors and tourists gliding past on the famous Punts on the Cam. The College was founded by Henry VIII in 1546 and is situated by the river. With the couple having been part of the rowing team, then it felt right to incorporate a different type of boat.
Elizabeth & Richard were both getting ready at the College and my assistant for the day met up with Richard while I was with the gilrs. From the girls room there was a wonderful view over the Courtyard and we could see guests and family arriving. When the time arrived and it was all clear Elizabeth came down to meet her Father and make the long walk across the grounds to be married in the beautiful College Chapel. Such a Majestic building inside and out. After the ceremony we all headed to Nevile’s Court for photos.
After a few photos in the stunning grounds, everyone headed to Girton College where the afternoon reception and dancing would take place. Another wonderful College, this time on the outskirts of Cambridge and with a slight air of Harry Potter about it the party continued. Speeches were held in the dining room and were a mix of love, emotion and a few stories from Uni days.
The evening carried on with a Ceilidh, not always the easiest thing to do in a beautiful long wedding dress, but sure is a lot of fun for everyone.
Congratulations to you both x
