South Farm Weddings, Spring
Wedding at South Farm | Jo & Kevin
When i get asked to photograph a Wedding at South Farm, I want to shout out Hell yeah! I love it here. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the house and grounds are just……. sublime. So many areas for photographs and wandering about and if you are lucky enough to get a fabulous sunset over the fields at the back then you have hit jackpot.
On the morning of Jo and Kevin’s wedding, I found Jo in the barn with her mum sorting out the table decorations and setting for the guests. There was a blue colour theme to the day and we added a few Delphinium flowers to the cake, just to keep the colour theme flowing. I hurried Jo back to the Bridal Suite where Kerry from Cambridge Make up Artist was waiting to set to work on Jo and her mum.
The morning was one the most relaxed wedding mornings that I have known for a long time. There was time for photographing all the details, a spot of lunch, lots of giggles and a well earned cup of tea.
Kevin arrived with his boys and his pride and joy, his car. My 2nd photographer Mark met up with them and was on hand to help with cufflinks, ties and all the bits that boys have to do.
South Farm is know for it’s summerhouse on the lake where the wedding ceremony can take place on fine days. Guests were sitting and waiting for Jo to arrive. Kevin i think was a little apprehensive, as most Grooms are but relaxed when he saw Jo walking through the garden on the arm of her mum who was giving her away.
There was plenty of smiles for the rest of the day and Jo has a very infectious one.
