Rectory Farm Cambridge | Eve & Richard
Weddings at Rectory Farm Cambridge are always a pleasure to photograph. It’s right on the edge of the City of Cambridge and is the perfect venue for Richard and Eve. They combined their fun-filled reception here with a beautiful family service at the United Reform Church in St Neots.
In all the weddings that I have photographed, and that’s quite a few now, I don’t think anyone has decorated a bedroom especially for the photographs.Eve’s mum was amazing and thought of all of this beforehand, brand new bedding and an uncluttered room. Just perfect for me. The girls all had a fun morning drinking Prosecco, having make-up done and opening wonderful presents. The boys were met at the Church by my second photographer Mark and as is tradition Eve was a little late to the Church. But that’s ok, it’s tradition, isn’t it? The service was being conducted by Richard’s Aunt, these individual touches make the day even more unique and personal.
Just a short journey and the celebrations started at Rectory Farm. Guests were greeted not only with the usual drinks and canapes but crazy golf too. The speeches that followed the wedding breakfast were awash with emotion before the groom traditionally received a fairly warm roasting from his best man and a little from his new Father-in-law. After I had taken the newlyweds out into the beautiful Rectory Farm grounds for a few relaxed posed photos, the dance floor soon filled with bodies as Andythe DJ kept both the lads and the ladies entertained through the evening.
Full of charm, and easily accessible to the A14 and M11, I would recommend Rectory Farm wholeheartedly as a fantastic Cambridge wedding venue. If you would like any information about wedding photography, please get in touch here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org Phone 07739 853413
