Orton Hall Hotel Wedding – Kayleigh & Joe

Orton Hall Hotel Wedding – Kayleigh & Joe

I know we as British are obsessed by the weather and no body wants rain on a wedding day, but… we are in England and it rains. So when it rained all day at Kayleigh and Joe’s Orton Hall Wedding, we embraced it. We found shelter and got the umbrellas out. Rain isn’t going to stop us having the best wedding day ever.

Orotn Hall has an amazing Orangery where you get married overlooking the parkland in the village of Orton Longuville. This is a wonderful Peterborough Wedding venue, situated so close to the city center and local motorways. I hadn’t been to Orton Hall for a little while so was pleased to be back. Although the darn weather stopped us exploring the grounds as much as I would have liked. Next time!

Kayleigh was getting ready at the family home with her girls and mum. Joe was at Orton Hall and was surrounded by family and friends in the bar when i arrived. Just like most Grooms. Sometimes a little dutch courage is often required.

There was a few tears shed during the day, which happens at a lot of weddings, but particularly in Joe’s speech when those that didn’t know where told that a baby was on the way. What fabulous news to share on your wedding day and what a gorgeous little baby these two are going to have.

Congratulations xx

In their own words

Where did you first meet

School

Who asked who and how

Joe asked Kayleigh after a meal at our favourite restaurant

Wedding planning, good, bad and fabulous

It was all relatively stress free… All the cake we got to try went down nicely too!

How was day through your eyes?

Perfect. Went by in a flash.

What was your favourite part of the day

Mine was having photos taken in the rain. Joe liked the food…..

Any tips you learnt along the way which may be useful for other brides

Relax and try to take everything in your stride.
