Longstowe Hall Summer Wedding
Jasmine & Stewart
When I think of Summer, I think of Roses, and to have a summer wedding at the gorgeous Cambridge wedding venue of Longstowe Hall means getting to enjoy the amazing Rose garden in its full glory.
Jasmine and Stewart’s flipping gorgeous wedding was just perfect, the sun shone, the roses bloomed and we got a cracking sunset. It was a crazy hot day though and when I first saw the dress hanging up, I wondered how she would get on in the heat. I think she had a fabulous day as she didn’t stop smiling at all.
The girls were getting ready at Jasmine’s home and little Luna (the cat) was being kept out of the way but we had to get a photo of her and her mum. The boys were all staying up the road at The Belfry, just a short distance from Longstowe Hall. My assistant photographer Mark Nortcliffe met Stewart there. Stewart was wearing a pin with a photo of his father, in his waistcoat. These touches are so personal and mean so much to couples.
After the ceremony in their local church of Bottisham, we headed to Longstowe Hall where the gardens looked amazing in the sunshine and the roses holding up in the hot summer that we were basking in.
Celebrations carried on into the evening and the dance floor was filling up as the drink was flowing.
Congratulations to you both x

Wedding planning, good, bad and fabulous
I absolutely loved wedding planning! And it’s so amazing when you see all of your planning come to life on the day. My favourites bits were dress shopping with my mum and bridesmaids- I ended up Falling in love with the first dress I tried on. I also loved going to see our beautiful venue and picking wedding flowers with Elizabeth. Stewart’s favourite bit was trying cake flavours haha. The bad bits- having my house full of wedding decorations
How was day through your eyes?
It was the perfect day! We loved every second and have the most amazing memories.
What was your favourite part of the day
We have so many favourite bits of the day but if we had to pick one it would be the church ceremony.
Any tips you learnt along the way which may be useful for other brides
