Hockwold Hall Wedding – Fiona & Liam
Hockwold Hall Wedding – Fiona & Liam
I had been looking forward to Fiona & Liam’s Hockwold Hall Wedding for quite a while. Firstly, I had never been to Hockwold Hall before and secondly, an Autumn wedding excites me. All those lovley rich colours.
We hadn’t bargained on the rain that we all woke up to, but it certainly did not spoil the day. These guys were determined to enjoy the fabulous grounds that Hockwold Hall has to offer,
The Cermony was held inside the Hall and then everyone celebrated in the marquee in the grounds. Rather than round tables, long dark wood tables and benches filled the room and looked fab with the candles and floral decor from Wild Frost.
As much as Fiona did look pretty damn gorgeous in her dress and Liam very Dapper in his Marc Darcy Suit, a shout out has to go the the most adorable and full of character Page boy Dude Freddie! Oh i wanted to bring him home
A big high five to these guys for going out in all kinds of weather to create some amazing photos and of course the sparklers towards the end of the night. Thanks to Rob Simpson for being my 2nd Photographer that day.

Wedding planning, good, bad and fabulous
Wedding planning all went well, I did change my mind a few times through the process. A few days before the wedding the venue was swapped from the hall to the marquee, however that turn out to look okay in the end. Not 100% how I envisioned but it worked. I was really lucky with my wedding dress as it went into the sample sale a few days after trying it on and it was such a perfect fit I didn’t need alterations. Our DJ sent us a lovely music wedding planning book along with prosecco and chocolates that was a lovely touch and the book was really useful.
How was day through your eyes?
Perfect, we both enjoyed every minute of it. Especially enjoyed having all our family and friends in one place celebrating. Plus I don’t think I have ever seen Liam dance so much! I couldn’t take the smile off my face.
What was your favourite part of the day
I wouldn’t particularity say I had a favorite moment of the day because I enjoyed every moment of it.
Any tips you learnt along the way which may be useful for other brides
