Essex Wedding Photographer | Hedingham Castle
Hedingham Castle | Sarah & James
A wedding in a Castle, yes, please! Who wouldn’t want their ceremony in the Castle, drinks in the Hall and gardens of the privately owned English Country House and the wedding breakfast in the traditional Marquee on the Tulip Lawn.
Couples looking for a truly unique experience can spend their entire day in the medieval splendour of the 900-year-old Norman Hedingham Castle in Essex.
Sarah wanted to be a princess on her wedding day and that’s exactly what she got as she married her prince in a candlelit ceremony inside the castle.
I had first met Sarah and James when James was a Groomsman at a previous Chippenham Park wedding. Sarah asked me if I was free for their October wedding and at the time I wasn’t. Within a few days, I contacted her to let her know that I was now available and we met up to talk about their day.
It sounded amazing, I couldn’t wait to see the wedding venue. Being a Cambridge Wedding Photographer, I don’t get to see many Castles around Cambridge.
We decided to do a venue visit and incorporate their pre-wedding session around the grounds at the same time. I got to meet Sarah’s Parents and Jacob, their very cute little son. You can read more about pre-wedding sessions here.
Being a princess for a day really suited Sarah, she beamed all day and celebrated with friends and family. Congratulations to you both
