Chippenham Park Summer Wedding

A Chippenham Park wedding is always fabulous. With stunning grounds surrounding the house and two wonderful locations for outdoor ceremonies, what isn’t there to love. Add in the lake and wandering meadows and I am in pure wedding photography heaven.

Lindsey and Shaun’s wedding was beautiful with a capital B! When I arrived the marquee was being decorated. The finishing touches with a vintage flair were supplied by Lucie at Easy and Elegant weddings and were everywhere and copious amounts of gorgeous flowers and pink roses. I do have a soft spot for pink roses at weddings.

Lee Allison was my second photographer at this wedding and he met up with the boys in the stable accommodation while I stayed with the girls. Being a large wedding party, having 2 photographers was perfect. No details were missed and there was a lot of amazing details.

The moment a Bride steps into her wedding dress, everything gets a little real. Lindsey was no different. Putting on her amazing Mori Lee wedding dress, emotions began to get the better of her. With tears and hands shaking she left the house and walked down the lantern-lined aisle to meet Shaun at the summer house overlooking the lake. I think the tears flowed through the whole ceremony and was replaced by beaming smiles.

With such amazing grounds, we had to go and explore, especially in the softer evening light. I mention light all the time and summer evening light is my favourite with long soft shadows and glorious golden light.

It was time for me to say goodnight shortly after the first dance and explosion of confetti. You all know how much I love confetti.

were then replaced with a beaming smile for the rest of the day.
