Wilobe Farm Barn | Kelly & Faz

Wilobe Farm Barn is a wedding venue so close to me that I could possibly walk there. Well I could, but I won’t, especially as Kelly was getting ready at Eagle Mill at Houghton. These are perfect boutique hotel rooms with fabulous baths.

While the girls were having hair and make-up done the boys were at home relaxing and this is where my 2nd photographer, Vicki met up with them. This was just a short drive away to the church, made even shorter by the Aston Martin that arrived to pick Faz up.  Kelly’s mode of transport was a little slower with a Vintage Bentley.

I’ve know Kelly quite a few years, but i don’t think I have ever seen such an emotional wedding. Even Kelly’s Dad had a hard time trying to hold it together right from the mornings preparations.

As Kelly walked into Church and down the aisle, Faz’s face beamed. Dad cried, close friends wiped a tear from their eye. All good signs of a fabulous wedding.

Heading back to Pidley,we took a detour to a friends garden to make the most of the roses that were holding on in the heat of summer.

Wilobe Barn is in Pidley has views over the fenland and is near the Golf course, perfect for sunsets. Being such a wonderful summer’s day guests enjoyed wandering around the lake and sitting in the sunshine before being called for dinner.

Here a surprise awaited each table, the gift of a hat and a pinny and the important job of carving the meat for dinner. An extra treat of ice cream was laid on in the early evening.

The Distractions Band performed throughout the evening and the dnace floor was packed but with the party continuing the silent disco ear phones were brought out. This was hilarious. What a  wedding!
