Bassmead Manor Barns | Nadine & Scott
Nadine & Scott
Bassmead Manor Barns
I first met Nadine and Scott when Nadine was Bridesmaid at a wedding in 2016, fast forward and now it is their big day at the Beautiful Bassmead Manor Barns, St Neots.
November is Winter Wedding season and I love it. The light is wonderfully soft and the colours are gorgeous muted tones, it may be a bit chilly but it all adds to the giggles with friends and family.
Nadine looked amazing in her dress with a veiled cape. It was the first time I had seen one of these and it was perfect for a Winter wedding.
Reece had the most important job of handing over the rings. I am sure everyone had a tear in their eye at how cute he was doing this.
Family and friends celebrated with the new Mr and Mrs in the Moat Barn overlooking the gardens and the Bridge. Everyone loves the Bridge at Bassmead, even more so when it’s lit up at night, which we did later.
The evening ended with sparkles and some crazy dance moves. Just how weddings should be.
Congratulations guys xx
Where did you first meet?
We meet when we were 16 and 18 in Yaxley with mutual friends
Who asked who and how?
Scott asked me on Christmas Day by passing me a Christmas card with Fiancé on it and a note inside saying my gift was hidden in the tree to find a ring, we are not overly soppy people hehe
Wedding planning, good, bad and fabulous
Went really well, we tried to be as organised as possible Scott didn’t have much input as I made all the decisions
How was day through your eyes?
Perfect felt like we were living a fairytale for a day and it went by so quickly but enjoyed every minute and a few too many drinks
What was your favourite part of the day?
Scott said seeing me walk down the aisle! My favourite was walking down to seeing Reece and Scott stood there waiting for me especially with Reece’s cheeky smile which nearly started the waterworks
Any tips you learnt along the way which may be useful for other brides
Defiantly be as organised as ever and when u think you have everything you don’t so do some more planning 😂
Who were your suppliers?
Florist Sally’s florist, dress wed2be, Hair L’unico, Makeup Sharpes Faces, Suit from Cavani, Cake Tasty Tarts, DJ Strobe Disco Roadshow
