Wilobe Farm Barn | Carly & Chris

Carly and Chris had a lovely relaxed wedding at Wilobe Farm Barn in Pidley back in August and for me it was the second wedding ceremony in just a few weeks that I’d photographed at Thomas A Becket Church in Ramsey. It’s a beautiful historic building and it seemed only fitting that Carly arrived in a beautiful old car, the vintage Bentley looked right at home outside the church!

After the ceremony there was time to make the most of the area surrounding the church for some portraits and family photographs and then it was off to Wilobe Farm Barn to continue the celebrations with family and friends. Carly and Chris met through work where they are both fitness instructors so it seemed appropriate to have a fitness theme to the wedding with fruit boxes as table centrepieces and fitness instructors topping the cake! All the decorations and flowers were handmade by Carli and other family members, didn’t they do a fantastic job?

Wilobe Farm is a hand built barn overlooking the lake and is a perfect venue for a relaxed family wedding, the children loved all the space to play.  The surroundings are perfect for photographs and even the ducks came and joined Carly and Chris for their portraits! A short power cut in the evening certainly made things interesting but it didn’t stop everyone from dancing the night away in the barn.
