South Farm Weddings Through the Year

Your dream wedding venue will look fabulous whatever the season and the weather. As a South Farm Wedding Photographer, the whole venue is a dream and has a multitude of places to go. Which can be a bad thing as you just want to use it all.  You know you are arriving at a special wedding venue as you pull off the road and head up the tree-lined driveway. As you turn the corner, from behind the horse chestnut tree the gorgeous buttermilk coloured farmhouse becomes visible. The stunning Tudor Barn wedding venue nestles to one side of the gravel courtyard, which can be used for your ceremony but is where you will have your afternoon reception. Behind the Farmhouse you will find the Summerhouse where your outdoor ceremony will take place.

During the Summer months, the most gorgeous blooms of red roses cascade over the front cascade of the house.  I love to incorporate the front of the house is your photos.  In the summer months, this is the perfect place for your group photos, it is bright but we have the shade of the house to use and keep you guys cool. Your South Farm Wedding Venue offers so much colour during the year.

Alliums are one of my favourite flowers and during late Spring the garden that overlooks the Summerhouse is packed with these amazing purple spikey blooms

During the morning and before the ceremony there is time to photograph the morning preparations and excitement.

Where will you have your wedding ceremony?  South Farm is a beautiful outdoor ceremony venue. The Summer house is nestled in one corner of the garden is perched on the lily pond. Your guests are seated on the banks overlooking you marrying your best friend.

On colder or wet weather days, The Old Dairy is the perfect compromise if you can’t have your outdoor ceremony.  The Terrace is to one side and viewed through the glass walls and a perfect view of the most amazing sunsets. The walkway and barnyard are on the opposite side and if you are lucky you may get a serenade from the resident white peacocks.  The Granary is one end of the old dairy and will be where you enter during the ceremony.

Confetti, oh my how I love confetti.  South Farm has the best confetti. Beautiful dried rose petals from the gardens of the South Farm wedding venue.  The Farmhouse provides the best backdrop for these moments when you are showered with love from your guests and family,

South Farm’s Tudor Barn is a perfect barn wedding venue. There is ancient reclaimed wood mixed with modern drapes and twinkling lights.  You can hold your ceremony here and also your first meal as a married couple, the wedding breakfast.  How will you decorate your wedding reception?

During the day we get to explore the rest of the grounds.  The flower meadow in the summer is sublime, in Spring the new budding booms in the garden and kitchen garden are places to head to. As a recommended South Farm Wedding Photographer I get to find lots of great places.

A South Farm wedding isn’t the same unless we head to the treelined driveway for some photos.  This is beautiful during the day and whatever month of the year but it totally comes to life at night time with some added extra light
