1940’s Camp Ramsey Vintage Wedding | Zoe & Lee
When a couple come to meet me and tell me all their ideas about their wedding day I get excited. When Lee & Zoe told me about theirs I was giddy. Then when they changed their wedding venue to a 1940’s camp to fit in with their Vintage style wedding….. well jackpot!
Zoe has an air of vintage glamour about her normally but on her wedding day as her hair and make-up were being done, this blossomed. Just look at the smile on her face during the morning preparations. There may have been a hiccup or two along the way but it didn’t matter to Zoe. All that mattered was her and Lee would become Mr & Mrs. Zoe’s make up and hair was by Elly Jane make up. Her dress was from Shades of White and is a Lou Lou Bridal Gown, who specialise in wonderful Vintage styles.
Lee was getting ready at their home with his Best Man, my second photographer, Dan, met up with them their before we all met up at Chatteris Church.
Zoe arrived in a VW Beetle from the Little Vintage Car Company. Carmen is a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, one of the oldest in the UK. She was also their transport to the 1940’s camp in Ramsey, along with a vintage bus from Dews coaches to take their guests. What a great pair. What makes this even more special for me, is the fact that my Dad used to drive this very bus years ago.
I have been to the 1940’s camp many times, there is even a Wedding fair held there which i attend. Zoe and Lee had decorated the hut beautifully and very sympathetically.
Mr & Mrs Roberts first dance, Fly Me To The Moon, was sung by the charming Grace Williams
Congratulations to you both, i had an amazing day and i know you both did too xx
