Behind The Camera
Hi, I’m Liz
I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012, and even after all these years, I still love the fact that every wedding gives me something completely different to photograph.
I’m calm, people-focused, and very used to couples telling me they’re awkward in front of a camera.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to perform for me. And you certainly don’t need to spend hours away from your wedding having photographs taken.
I’ll guide you when you need it and let everything unfold when you don’t.

Then you’re getting married somewhere I know incredibly well.
Holmewood Hall is only ten minutes from me and I’ve photographed many weddings here over the years. I know the rooms, the grounds, the beautiful pockets of light and those little places we can disappear to for photographs without taking you away from your guests for ages.
More importantly, I know that no two weddings here are ever the same.
My approach is about photographing your version of Holmewood Hall. The people you’ve brought together, the laughter, the nerves, the hugs, the party and all those little moments happening around you while you’re busy getting married.

Your wedding isn't a photoshoot
Of course, we’ll make time for beautiful photos of you two and the family photos that matter.
But for most of your day, I’ll simply let you enjoy it.
I’ll gently guide when you need me, step in when something needs organising and disappear into the background when it doesn’t.
Because some of my favourite photographs are often the ones you never knew I was taking.
On our wedding day, Liz was simply magic. She captured every emotion, every special moment, and all of the little details without ever feeling intrusive. So many of the most wonderful photographs were taken without us even realising she was there, allowing us to be completely present and enjoy every moment of our day
