The Haycock Hotel Wedding | Hannah & Raphael
I first met Hannah & Raph at their home back on a dark winter evening. Frankie and Valentina were both up and Frankie was showing me his skills on the iPad. Hannah had certainly done her homework, and knew all about me and my wedding collections. They married at The Haycock Hotel, Wansford, which is situated on the banks of the river Nene, just outside Peterborough. I have shot weddings here before and the gardens are just beautiful.
We also used the grounds for Hannah & Raph’s pre-wedding shoot. That was so much fun, i knew the wedding would be great too. Hannah was a little nervous and my second shooter Nicola, from Nicola Rowley Photography tried her hardest to ease the nerves as i waited to capture her walking down the aisle. Hannah’s make up was done by another Hannah, Hannah Stapling from Stamford
Raph is Italian and family had made the journey over to celebrate their day with them. One Auntie brought home made Limoncello, which was delicious.
The theme to the day was Quentin Tarantino. All the tables were named after films, with True Romance being the top table. Hannah had told me there would be skulls and blood red roses and amazing shoes. She looked just stunning in her dress.
The day went by in a flash, there was a shadow artist creating pictures for the guests to keep, a magician and the most fabulous latin band played during the evening.
I had a fabulous time photographing Mr & Mrs Frascogna’s wedding, thank you for sharing your day with me.
