Cambridge Wedding Photographer | Selwyn College Cambridge | Hannah & York
Selwyn College Cambridge | Hannah & York
Hannah and York met while studying at Selwyn College Cambridge, so it was only right that they married in the chapel and held their wedding reception at the same College.
On a chilly day in March i met with Hannah and the rest of the Bridal party at Hotel Felix on the outskirts of Cambridge city center. My assistant for the day Ryan met up with York and his groomsmen at the Stephen Hawkin Building which was not far from Selwyn College. You will notice that Panda’s appear a lot, they are a lucky symbol.
The girls were all calm and enjoying the morning, there was tea, coffee and music. The boys………….. well there was a little bit of alcohol involved, a 12 years old Malt i think it was.
The ceremony was held in the Chapel at the college by the resident Chaplain and also the Priest that married Hannah’s parents. Combined with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, this wedding was truly unique and beautiful.
The weather was dry, sunny but oh so cold. After the confetti, everyone headed inside to warm up. Most of the group photos were taken inside and one group took the chance to re enact a rowing scene. Well it is Cambridge after all and it wouldn’t be a Cambridge College Wedding without a bit or rowing!
Wishing you both many many years of love and happiness together. Liz x
