The Old Bridge Hotel | Gemma & Rob
Saturday 8th August was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and Gemma and Rob were saying ‘I do’ at The Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon.
I had photographed a wedding there earlier in the year so new how wonderful the day was going to be. With the sun shining down on us too, it was perfect.
I met with Gemma as she was having her make up done. Her gorgeous dress was hanging in the bedroom and i busied myself capturing all the details. After a while Gemma was off to have her hair done so i went off to their home to meet Rob and the boys to ‘supervise’ them getting ready.
Back to Gemma and the girls in time for dresses on and the car to arrive. I got ahead to meet them at the hotel so i could be there on their arrival.
The ceremony was held upstairs and was beautiful, in front of family and friends. It was a glorious August day and everyone enjoyed mingling outside on the terrace.
Gemma is in the Navy and both of them enjoy sailing, so The Old Bridge is perfect as it is next to the river. We headed down to the riverside for some photos and made use of one of the guests boats moored there. The tables were all named after rivers, which kept the theme going.
With garden games and the evening sun beaming down, all the guests enjoyed the evening chatting and having their portraits done by a Caricaturist.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful wedding with me x
