Suffolk Wedding Photographer | Blackthorpe Barn
Blackthorpe Barn | Kate & Mat Wedding
Relaxed and informal was to be the feel of Kate & Mat's wedding day in July. I headed over to meet Kate at Blackthorpe House which is next to the Tudor barn near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The girls were all getting ready in the house and the ceremony was to take place in the barn. Fingers crossed the rain held off enough for the short walk to the barn, which luckily it did. Family and friends along with Mat and their two boys were waiting for Kate's arrival inside the barn.
After the ceremony and a few quick photos while the rain held back we headed back to the house where the reception would take place. What a gorgeous house, beautifully decorated. I think i could live here.
Close family and friends spent the afternoon with Kate and Mat and more joined for celebrations in the evening. The planned bar-b-que was rearranged and enjoyed inside. The rain stayed all afternoon but we did pop out with umbrellas to get a few shots of the happy couple.
Congratulations to you and i hope you have a wonderful life together x
