When you both have a love for shooting, then of course you have to incorporate this into your wedding day. Plaques, name place holders, button holes and even in some of the poses, the shooting theme definitely made an appearance.
Kate and Steve got ready for their wedding at the Haycock Hotel in Wansford, near Peterborough on a rather wet October day. Kate was in one of the bedrooms with all the girls and plenty of bubbles. The boys arrived a bit later and looked very dapper. All of Kates Bridesmaids wore multi wrap dresses, which look amazing, but take a bit of time to get used to tying them up. Luckily Lisa from Vow Bridal was on hand to help all the girls and to dress Kate.
We managed to get a few photos in the gardens of the Haycock before heading off to the beautiful Fotheringhay Church. Kate arrived in a 1928 Rolls Royce open tourer from Peterborough Wedding cars, which unfortunately couldn't have the top down.
Unfortunately the rain poured down and all the group photos had to be inside the church, but when it is such a beautiful church as Fotheringhay, it didn't matter. The ran did stop once we were back at the Haycock and we managed to explore the gardens for some photos. You can't hold a wedding in Wansford without going under the bridge.
I have to say, i don't think i have seen such an elegant cake at a wedding before. This stunning creation was made by Katie at Couture Cakes, which worked so beautifully with all the flowers lovingly arranged by Keepsakes of Yaxley.
I know you had a fabulous day and i loved being part of it. Congratulations x
