It was a beautiful summer’s day in August for Laura and Adam’s stylish but fun wedding. The ceremony took place at the historic Thomas a Becket Church in Ramsey followed by a reception at the Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Rutland.
The wedding had a handmade theme with every single detail being lovingly made, from the invitations to the sweet wedding favours and everything in between. Laura’s parents, Diane and Nick, even attended sugar craft classes so that they could make and decorate the cake themselves. As you can see from the pictures they did an absolutely fantastic job!
The girls got ready at Laura's parents home with hair and make up by Lauren from Be Fabulous. Laura looked stunning as she and her Dad arrived at the church in a vintage car, from Prestige Cars. St Thomas A Becket is a medieval church and such a wonderful setting for a wedding. After the ceremony we took some time for family photographs in the beautiful surroundings before everyone headed over to the reception at Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Ramsay. Unfortunately we all got caught up in major traffic jams on the way but luckily I managed to get there before Laura and Adam so that I could photograph their arrival in that gorgeous old car!
Although it was a little windy the weather stayed warm and dry and everyone was able to enjoy some time outdoors in the grounds of the hotel. Barnsdale Hall has some breath taking views over Rutland Water and the surrounding countryside and they made a perfect backdrop for some romantic portraits of Laura and Adam on their special day. As for the speeches, well you can see they were quite a giggle. I'm sure a tear or two was shed through laughter.
Congratulations guys, thanks so much for letting me be part of your wonderful wedding day x
