I’m so excited to be sharing Ellie & Ben’s handmade vintage wedding on the blog. Ellie and Ben were married on a glorious sunny day in July, it was a day overflowing with laughter and love and proved that it’s possible to have a very special wedding day without having a huge budget.
The wedding ceremony took place in St. Kyneburgha's church in Castor. Fortunately the early threat of rain had passed and Ellie was able to walk to the church with her brother. Once they arrived at the church it was a quick change from flat blue shoes into sparkling blue heels before Ellie walked up the aisle accompanied by her Mum, sister and brother to join Ben and best man Daniel.
After the ceremony the party walked from the church to Castor Village Hall to continue the celebrations. The hall looked wonderful with its handmade vintage styled décor, colourful garden flowers and vibrant paper pom-poms. Ellie and Ben’s love of travel and exploring the world was also incorporated this into the quirky styling. The fun and laughter continued throughout the day and on into the evening. We left everyone for a short while and headed to Ferry Meadows, just a short drive away for photos on the bridge. On the way back we planned to stop on Loves Hill. How perfect for newlyweds.
Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day, it was an absolute pleasure x
